Creative Social Media Volunteer

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarise yourself with our organisation’s story and the social media platforms we currently use.
  • Create and edit video and photo content tailored for TikTok and other social platforms.
  • Stay up to date with trends on social media and adapt them to promote our mission.
  • Capture our dedicated staff and volunteers in action on-site, as well as during community events, etc.
  • Work alongside our Social Media Coordinator to ensure content reflects our voice and mission, resonates with a diverse audience, and effectively builds our brand.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A creative mind with a passion for storytelling and social media.
  • Experience in content creation, editing, and production (prior experience with TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook is a plus!).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Patience and a positive attitude, especially when working with animals and volunteers.
  • A genuine love for animals and a desire to support our mission.

Manual handling includes sustaining repetitive movements of lifting/bending, pushing/pulling, twisting/turning and walking for extended periods of time. Some heavy lifting up to 15kg may be required.
