Workplace Giving allows you as an employee to donate a portion of your pre-tax salary directly to a chosen charity—just like SCAR! This way of donating is not only convenient, but also tax-effective, allowing you to support a cause close to your heart while enjoying immediate tax benefits. Instead of waiting until the end of the financial year, your donation reduces your taxable income right away.

How Does It Work?
- Choose Your Donation: Decide how much you want to contribute each pay cycle. This can easily be done through your payroll system or an online giving platform, and be as much or as little as you like!
- Automatic Deductions: Your chosen donation amount is deducted from your pre-tax salary each pay period, ensuring you receive the full tax benefits without the hassle of collecting receipts at tax time. No more hoarding donation receipts until June 30!
- Support Animals in Need: Once your donation is received by SCAR, we will put your donation straight to work, helping animals who need it most and supporting pet owners in need! Every dollar helps us give pets a second chance at life.
