Boarding Cattery

Let Our Boarding Cattery Be Their Home Away From Home!

If you’re looking for a reliable Boarding Cattery to look after your feline friend while you are travelling, then you’ve come to the right place. At Second Chance Animal Rescue (SCAR), your cat will find more than just a comfortable place to wait for your return. They’ll experience love, attention, and a sense of home. And the best part? Every booking helps support homeless pets in need.

What makes our Cattery so Special?

Room to Move: Our walk-in, open enclosures give your cat plenty of space to explore, lounge, and relax in cosy nooks or high-up perches.

Volunteer Love: Our dedicated volunteers provide individualised care, playing soothing music, reading them books, offering daily enrichment activities and plenty of cuddles!

Cat Experts: Our team are trained to understand your cat’s unique personality, whether they’re shy, spicy, or smoochy.

Instant Vet Care: Our SCAR Community Animal Hospital is onsite and fully equipped to address any health concerns.

Enclosures

Single Suites:

Our very spacious, walk-in single enclosures have been purposely built to ensure our feline guests have ample room to feel comfortable while in our care. Upgrade your kitty to our Double Suite when they are available for only an extra $9 per day to give them even more room to romp around!

Fees:

1 Cat Only: $23 per day

Double Suites*:

Our Double Suites are 50% bigger than our Single Suites and can fit up to two cats (from the same home) or one very lucky upgraded kitty!

Fees:

1 Cat: $32 per day

2 Cats: $34 per day

*subject to availability

VIP Suites*:

Our VIP Suite is much larger and taller than our double enclosures and includes extra climbing levels, much more space and an extra high ceiling for kitties that like to get up high. This enclosure is great for up to 3 cats being boarded together (from the same home) or for lucky VIP kitties that like to climb and have extra space all to themselves.

Fees:

1 Cat: $37 per day

2 Cats: $39 per day

3 Cats: $41 per day

Monday to Friday:

9:30am – 4:30pm

Saturday:

10:00am – 11:00am and 2:00pm – 3:00pm

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The SCAR cattery charges per calendar day or part thereof.
  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • Deposits will not be refunded if less than 48hrs notice is given for cancellation.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

Manual handling includes sustaining repetitive movements of lifting/bending, pushing/pulling, twisting/turning and walking for extended periods of time. Some heavy lifting up to 15kg may be required.
