They did! And It’s for a great cause!

This October, get your walking shoes ready and your pup by your side because our good friends at PetWell® are hosting their annual charity Walk for PetWellness – and all funds raised will support the lifesaving work we do here at SCAR to keep pet and their people together!

Magical Mutts & Mystical Pups! 

This year’s 5km walk is going to be nothing short of spellbinding!

All dogs and their humans are invited to come dressed as wizards, witches, or magical creatures – because together, you’re conjuring up second chances and happy endings for rescue animals through the power of love, kindness, and community.

Whether it’s a glittery unicorn horn, a flowing wizard cloak, or a sparkly wand in tow – your pup’s costume helps spread the message: Every dog deserves a little magic.

Stretch Your Legs for Animals in Need!

That’s right! All ticket sales will go towards the many homeless animals in need here at SCAR, helping them to find the loving homes they deserve! So, grab your broomsticks, fluff up those wings, and prepare to paw-ty with purpose!

Manual handling includes sustaining repetitive movements of lifting/bending, pushing/pulling, twisting/turning and walking for extended periods of time. Some heavy lifting up to 15kg may be required.
