Second Chance Animal Rescue has several programs available for sponsorship and community support: Many of these programs rely on grants, private donors and corporate support and you are making a huge difference to the lives of abandoned pets by supporting us.
We are a non-profit on a mission, over the years our priority focus has been the rescuing and rehoming of displaced animals in our community. As much as this focus will remain important for us, we needed to do more to get to the grassroots of the problem of WHY so many companion animals in our community end up in our pounds in need rescue in the first place.
So we opened a low cost animal hospital to provide our community with affordable veterinary options. We wanted to make high-quality desexing and veterinary care affordable and accessible to all pet owners and have become Hume’s very first non-profit animal hospital in the process. Many of the pet owners we currently deal with in our local community cannot afford traditional veterinary services. With our support, they can avoid the most heartbreaking of choices ranging from animal abandonment to economic euthanasia.
Companies who choose to sponsor a program with SCAR receive exposure via our 50,000+ strong social media following, logo and thanks on our website and mentions at SCAR public events to name just a few incentives.
