Guardian Angel Program

Become a Guardian Angel for the Homeless Animals in our Care

Every day we see hundreds of animals in need. Hungry, injured, abandoned, and exhausted; they need help – now.

Our Guardian Angels support SCAR with regular donations, allowing us to provide immediate and essential care to the animals that need it most. Your regular support means that we can:

  • Ensure that all the animals in our care have immediate access to food and shelter, veterinary care, enrichment, and other essentials before they’re ready to find their loving homes.
  • Provide lifesaving services to the many families and their pets who are facing substantial hardship.
  • Provide emergency boarding for the pets of desperate owners while they flee from dangerous situations.

With so many people facing unprecedented hardship or homelessness, and with domestic and family violence on the rise - there has never been a greater need for the services we offer at SCAR.

Stats That Matter

Over the last year alone, we have:

  • Rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed over 900 animals that have found their way to us from a range of different circumstances.
  • Performed over 2,300 emergency surgeries
  • Placed 869 animals into Foster Care
  • Provided Emergency Boarding to over 149 pets of owners fleeing from dangerous living situations or escaping family and domestic violence
  • Provided over 300,000 meals of pet food to families in need

By becoming a Guardian Angel, you can help us continue this lifesaving work and make a real difference in the lives of the cats and dogs who need it most.
