Bio:
A graphic designer and proof-reader for nearly 20 years, Kathryn Steel loves spending any time being creative.
Kathryn graduated from NMIT with a Diploma in Graphic Art, then worked as a graphic designer at a publishing house. During this time, she created a freelance design and proofreading business (Bullet Proof Reading & Design) on the side. After 11 years Kathryn became a sole freelancer, creating everything from magazine and book layouts, website design, logos, and corporate identities, to illustration, art, and photography.
Kathryn is passionate about drawing and painting, and enjoys watercolour, acrylic, gouache, digital and pencil art. Her favourite subjects to paint are animals, nature, and cute scenes. She has created many children’s books as a hobby and hopes to become a published author/illustrator in the future.
