June and July in Review
June and July have been busy months full of rescues and adoptions at the SCAR shelter and our behind the scenes project team have been busy little bees, focusing on the creation for our new Community Animal Hospital project! Soon it will be time for us to unravel our plans and show all of our supporters how we intend to make an even bigger dent in the cycle of animal homelessness and reduce the number of companion animals in our pound system in Victoria and beyond.
On another exciting note, we are more than excited to announce that the gorgeous Nicola Charles has joined us at SCAR as an ambassador for our Community Animal Hospital! You might remember Nicola from her role as Sarah Beaumont in the classic Australian show Neighbours! She will be helping us in promoting our fundraising efforts as she is a total animal lover and we are excited to have her on board!
So stay tuned, some big things are happening at SCAR and you, all of our wonderful supporters, will be the first to hear about them all!
